Fleet Week in Baltimore!

Fleet Week has begun in Baltimore! The excitement has already started throughout the city, and there is more to come throughout the rest of the weekend. If you are in Baltimore, make sure to check out some of these events.

Wednesday, October 12: The Ships Arrive!
From 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., U.S. and Canadian Navy ships begin arriving at the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, and Locus Point. Following, Governor Larry Hogan will be welcoming representatives from visiting U.S. Navy and Canadian vessels to wonderful Baltimore. There will also be a performance by the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Band. From 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., you can watch the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooners’ Parade of Sail throughout the Inner  Harbor. This event is free and open to the public.

Thursday, October 13: Explore The Ships!
Navigate the Fleet! From 1 p.m. – 6 p.m., the ships are open for touring at the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, and Locust Point. Learn the history of these ships and take the time to explore through them.

Friday, October 14: Crew Sports Day!
From 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., teams will compete in softball, basketball, corn hole, and soccer at Latrobe Park. Ships will also be open for public touring form 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. while the Fleet Week Festival takes place sponsored by AT&T. Don’t forget to Meet the Fleet & Selfie with a Sailor before you go!

Saturday, October 15: Baltimore Running Festival/Marathon, Air Show Baltimore Performance & More!
There’s so many different things going on Saturday, I can’t put them all into one headline! Starting off the day with the Baltimore Marathon from 6 a.m. – 3 p.m., make sure to watch for road closures between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Fleet Week Chesapeake Galley & Beer Garden will be open at the West Shore Park from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. During this time, the Air Show Performance will be from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. near Fort McHenry and other surrounding locations. Lastly, tour the ships and partake in the Fleet Week Festival!

Sunday, October 16: Festivals & Air Show Baltimore Performance!
Stop by the Martin State Airport for an open house and free festival from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., tour the ships at the Inner Harbor, and watch the air show performance! There are so many options of things to see and do! It’s guaranteed to be a great Sunday afternoon spent in Baltimore.

Monday, October 17: The Ships Depart!
Watch as the ships depart from the Inner Harbor from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. after a long fun-filled week!
