Historic Inspiration

The name of each of the Carrollton Inn’s thirteen rooms and suites was inspired by a facet of the life of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, the original owner of the neighboring Carroll Mansion. From 1777 to 1800, Charles Carroll of Carrollton served as a Maryland State Senator and from 1789 to 1792, he also served as the first Senator from Maryland in the federal government.
